Why would I give CBD to my pet?
CBD has shown benefits for animals in a range of conditions including, but not limited to, pain and anxiety. CBD assists the body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS) in maintaining homeostasis, or the balance of all processes in the body. Learn more about the ECS HERE. 

How much CBD should I give my pet?
If your pet has never used a CBD product, it is important to start with a low dose and raise it slowly. We’ve put together this basic dosage chart for your convenience. Do not exceed the recommended dosage for your pet's weight. If needed, you can repeat the dose again after 5 hours.

Can I give my pet CBD formulated for humans?
Our CBD is the same CBD that would be found in products designed for pets and is safe for use if dosed appropriately. As a reminder, you’ll want to follow recommendations from your vet. Be sure to select our raw variety as the mint flavor may not be desirable to your pet.

How should I administer CBD to my pet?
Our tinctures are preferable when you first start giving CBD to your pet as it is easier to monitor the dosage rather than being limited to a fixed amount in a treat. Use our dropper and administer the oil by mouth.

How long will CBD take to “kick in”?
It can take up to two weeks of regular use to notice an improvement in your pet. After this initial period of time, you should notice the effects within 30-40 minutes of dosing. 

While a majority of Veterinarians agree that CBD can help our pets, it is still important to note that, as with any supplement, you should first consult a healthcare professional prior to use.
